I've had this case for a few weeks now and I'm starting to like it more and more.The NEO Qube 2 IM from Magniumgear is a true showcase mid-tower chassis without compromise. Luckily I had some other D-RGB stuff and we could quickly conclude it was indeed the LED strip that was defective. They had me do some tests to figure out if the defective component was the LED strip or the RGB controller.
If anyone else is having this issue, you might want to contact their support. There's a small cutout in the chassis so you can pull the LED strip out without having to disassemble the entire front of the case. Turns out that replacing the LED strip is a 60-second job Take of the top panel, take the side panel off, unplug the wire going to the LED strip and then you can lift the LED strip out of the top. I contacted Phanteks support and they sent out a replacement LED strip. Or more accurate: It worked for like 10 seconds on first power up and then short-circuited. My Neo Qube case came with a defective LED strip right out of the box. The last thread on this issue was archived so I created a new post.
I've seen multiple reports of defective LED strips on the Neo Qube.
